GSU x ESCA – Discovering African Innovation with BioDrive

As part of their academic immersion program in Morocco, students from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business participated in an engaging learning session hosted by Africa Case Lab at ESCA Ecole de Management. The session spotlighted BioDrive, a Moroccan biotech startup recognized for its groundbreaking work in the sector.

The case discussion featured a special guest appearance by Dr. Majid El Ghaib, Co-founder and President of BioDrive, who provided students with an in-depth, behind-the-scenes perspective on the startup’s journey, challenges, and innovation strategy within the African entrepreneurial landscape.

Through this internationally awarded case study, students were able to explore real-world business scenarios while engaging in meaningful cross-cultural dialogue. The session exemplified the value of African case-based learning in equipping future leaders with global insight and locally rooted perspectives.
